Buying a Gift Card
Gift Cards are virtual products in email format that can be bought via our GiftUp hosted site. When buying a Gift Card from MacRaith Photography via GiftUp, we will send an email with a code to the buyer's chosen email address. We do not take responsibility for incorrect entry of a receiver’s email address, so please make sure your send instructions are correct.
Emails sent to someone by the buyer can be scheduled for future sends, handy for birthdays and other events.
The Gift Card is not a credit or charge Gift Card.
Redeeming a Gift Card
Gift Cards must be redeemed by clicking the email link sent to the buyer's chosen email address.
Gift Cards can only be redeemed by the buyer's recipient.
Gift Cards can be redeemed for photography services offered for Weddings, Intimate Weddings, Portrait Sessions or Celebrations only, as stated on the Gift Card, and is based on the availability of MacRaith Photography.
Gift Cards must be redeemed in GB pounds sterling for the cost of MacRaith Photography services as listed above.
Gift Cards can be used to partially or fully contribute to a MacRaith Photography service. Outstanding Gift Card value will remain in the account within which it was originally activated. If the Gift Card value does not cover the cost of the quote, additional payment methods must be used in order to complete the payment.
One or more Gift Cards can be redeemed against a quote, the value of each Gift Card will be added up to a total Gift Card value.
Gift Cards value cannot be transferred to a cash value.
Once a quote has been accepted by a client, no further gift cards or discounts can be applied.

Cancelling a Gift Card
All Gift Cards are non-refundable once the Gift Card has been purchased by the buyer.
We may withdraw or cancel the Gift Card and require an alternative form of payment if we suspect that the Gift Card may have been stolen or fraudulently used. Further action may also be taken.
RESCHEDULING & Gift CardS
All services rendered by MacRaith Photography that are covered by Gift Cards are subject to contract signed and accepted by the Gift Card recipient.
In the event that a booked session is cancelled or rescheduled by the recipient, the clauses within the signed contract apply.
In the absence of contractual clauses regarding Gift Cards: rescheduling a session will transfer the Gift Card value applied to the session to the new date/time; cancelling a session will not refund the Gift Card value applied to the cancelled session to the Gift Card.

No discounts can be given on Gift Cards. This means that promo codes and other discounts cannot not be applied to Gift Cards.
If one or more Gift Cards have been applied to a quote, then no other discounts may be applied to a quote.

Right to amend our TERMS OF USE Statement
MacRaith Photography reserves the right to amend this Terms of Use Statement or discontinue the Gift Card at any time and any changes will be effective immediately. Last updated November 2020.
