Hello and welcome to MacRaith Photography! I'm Doug, I love photography and capturing times most special to me and others is something that brings me a great deal of joy. I hope to help capture the moments most precious to you too!
For the last 8 years, I have found that the best part of photographing family events and weddings is the joy my clients get from a beautiful memory rekindled from a great photograph.
I am really passionate about the work I do and knowing how emotional and awe-inspiring the effects of weddings and family events can have, it was sometimes disappointing how the photos afterwards didn't quite do the day justice. Hopefully this is where I come in!
It is important to me that I really deliver on what you want which is why our packages are flexible and why we will spend time consulting with you to talk about your plans and your thoughts.
I focus on capturing the story of your day in a relaxed and low profile way, confidently being able to emulate the joy and happiness through the photos that we take.

FAQs
What areas do you cover?
We cover Hampshire, Dorset, Surrey and West Sussex without any additional charges - although we're more than happy to cover weddings outside these areas! For areas outside the mentioned list, there may be an additional charge to help cover travel and/or accommodation but we will be upfront about these on our initial communication.
Do YOU do group photos as well?
Yes, of course! Although we focus more on capturing candid shots throughout the day, we know that group shots are also important - there are very few moments in life that allow multiple generations of a family to be together and what better way to capture that than having a group photo. During our consultation, we can talk through the group shots that are important to you and we can offer up an initial list that usually works well for most.
how long do we have to wait to get the photos?
After your day, we will send through a few sample shots to you normally within a week; ready for use immediately! From there, depending on the package and hours spent on photographing your day, it will usually range 6 to 8 weeks to fully process them and digitally deliver them via a password-protected online gallery as standard to you. These photos will be available to download for you to personally re-use and share as you wish. For more details on the turnaround, please take a look at the Prices section on each individual page.
Who will I meet?
Doug (that's me) will be your primary photographer. Once we've recieved a bit more detail about what you'd like, we'll get in touch with how we'll help!
Are you insured?All professional photographers should be and we are no exception! We are fully covered and insured.
